Lingo15 is a free study aid. Use it for your own learning, keep your Google account secure if you sign in, and do not misuse the app or its services.

1. The app

Lingo15 is provided free of charge and supported by ads. We may change, update or stop features. We do our best to keep it working, but it is provided "as is" without guarantees.

2. Learning content

Word lists, example sentences and grammar notes are prepared with the help of automated tools and open-licence sources and may contain mistakes, especially at advanced levels. Lingo15 does not prepare you for, or guarantee a result in, any official exam (HSK, Goethe, TestDaF or others). Credits for open-licence content are in the app's About screen.

3. Speaking practice

The pronunciation check relies on your device's speech recognition and is only a guide.

4. Your account (optional)

You can sign in with your Google account to back up your progress. You are responsible for your Google account. You can sign out, or delete your account and cloud data, at any time in the app or by following these steps. We may remove an account that is used to abuse the service.

5. Your progress and backups

Progress is stored on your phone and, if you sign in, also in the cloud. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes the copy on your phone. Backups are a convenience, not a guarantee: keep in mind that data can be lost.

6. Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its backend, access other people's data, or use the app unlawfully.

7. Ads

The app shows ads. Rewarded ads are optional and are used for features such as repairing a missed streak day. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; see the privacy policy.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, HomiLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
