Delete your account and data
You only need this page if you signed in with Google in Lingo15. If you never signed in, the app holds no account and no cloud data about you, and uninstalling the app removes everything.
Option 1: in the app (immediate)
- Open Lingo15 and go to Settings.
- Under Backup and sync, tap Delete account and cloud data.
- Confirm. The app deletes your cloud backup and then your sign-in account. If Google asks you to sign in again to confirm, do so.
Option 2: by email
If you can no longer open the app, send an email to homilabs.smc@gmail.com from the email address of the Google account you used, with the subject "Delete my Lingo15 data". We delete your account and cloud backup and confirm by email, within 30 days (usually much sooner). We may ask you to confirm it is you.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (Google account identifier, email address and display name stored by Firebase Authentication).
- Your cloud backup (lessons, word schedule, study days, chosen level) in Cloud Firestore.
What is not deleted
- Progress stored on your phone. Clear the app's storage or uninstall Lingo15 to remove it.
- Your Google account itself, and anything Google holds about ads or your use of its services. Manage those in your Google Account.
See the privacy policy for details about what the app uses.
